Solar systems produce the lowest cost energy available in the US today.

On average, California solar systems generate electricity at close to $.04/kWh. California utilities sell electricity to customers at closer to $.16 or so depending on a wide range of rate and customer classifications. No matter how you slice it, there is a substantial ROI for solar projects in California.

What is the ROI?

Solar ROI varies of course... However, we routinely see 36 month to 100 month simple payback.

Every project is different. Some projects have simple development hurdles while others have significant issues. Scale of course makes a big difference to overall cost per Watt as well. Interconnection costs and timelines can make or break a project.

Interconnection Professionals Make it Happen

A qualified interconnection professional will review the project plans at the conceptual stage to begin grid analysis and estimate costs associated with connecting the solar (and storage) project to the utility grid.

A qualified professional has relationships within the utilities which facilitate the research and analysis of the complex grid infrastructure. This is critical path for a successful project.
